Question by classicrocker192: I am 18, and planning on going on a Carnival Cruise. Is there a way to find cool kids my age to chill with?
I am aware of the age limit to sail.
On my last cruise I was 17, and found the 02 club (a club for 15-17 year olds) and I had a lot of fun with the kids I met there. We stayed up until 5AM, ran around, ate ice cream, did stupid teenage stuff. It was the best cruise I had so far with them. In the years leading up to that I had never heard of it before and I didn’t really find that many people to hang with on the 4-5 previous ships. Now I’m disappointed that it seems I found the club to late.
I’m not anti-social; I’ve met a few people in the arcade in the past. As well as different areas where a few kids were hanging out. I’m afraid that I will fall back into that and not get the enjoyment I potentially could. I’m going to be just getting out of school and I want to enjoy myself as much as possible.

Sure is.
Go to www.cruisecritic.com and register (it’s free). Then search for Roll Call and go to Carnival Cruise. Then on the Carnival page, go to the date that is listed for your cruise. It’s a forum board where you can ask questions, chat, etc. They organize meet & greet, cabin crawl (way cool) and it may be a good way for you to meet others your age.
We have kids your age and they love it and find many cool kids to hang with before they even get on the ship and it gives them something to look forward to.
